I got my PhD in Computer Science (specialized in Artificial Intelligence) in 2003 from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). I carried out my PhD thesis at the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (IIIA-CSIC), advised by Prof. Ramon López de Màntaras and Prof. Carles Sierra. The subject of the thesis was "A Multiagent Approach to Qualitative Navigation in Robotics". Follow this link to learn more about it. From 2004 to 2006 I was a postdoc fellow at the Robotics Institute of Carnegie Mellon University with a Fulbright Scholarship, where I worked on the application of market-mechanisms to coordinate a team of robots. In 2006 I joined the University of Girona as a Ramon y Cajal researcher. My current area of research includes: multi-agent resource allocation and robustness in auctions. |
